Welcome to fourth grade!
This site has been designed to make life easier for you as parents. I have tried to give you access to all of the useful sites and links
that we use all the time. If there is something that you think would be helpful, please let me know! I will also try not to put too much on the site,
to keep it from becoming cluttered and harder to use. On the calendar, please find upcoming Hilton events, tests that will be
given soon, important due dates, and anything else I feel needs a reminder.

Volunteer Background Check:
Stay tuned -- I am hopeful we will need this later in the year!

How you can help:
Please try to let your child manage his or her own planner, Keep and Return folder and backpack. The
homework should not need much help from you -- just a quiet place to work and a pencil! As the year progresses,
we will be learning how to study for tests, and then I will ask for your assistance. This year is the time for
your child to prepare for Maltby and everything the intermediate school can offer. Becoming independent
is a huge part of this. Please try to allow your child to make mistakes and forget things now and then --
sometimes the hardest thing for a parent to do is to turn and walk away quietly, but I promise it will pay off!
